Trust and limits
You’re in control, the rules are clear
Know up front what the calendar does and doesn’t do.
You own the calendar
Your opening hours and appointment length (15, 20, 30, 45 or 60 minutes) work exactly as you set them; you can switch the calendar off at any time and go back to free-form requests.
No double bookings
A second appointment can’t be booked for the same slot. If a slot has just been taken, the patient picks another one.
The patient is kept informed
When you reschedule or cancel an appointment, a patient who left an email is notified. Mark it as completed and they also receive a verified review link.
Good to know
The time-slot appointment calendar comes with Doktorio Pro (0 Kč/month). Notifications are sent by email; a patient who leaves no email gets no confirmation or reminder.

Frequently asked questions
How do I book an appointment on Doktorio?
Go to the doctor’s or clinic’s Doktorio profile, tap “Book appointment”, choose a free date and time, and leave your name and contact details. Your request goes straight to the doctor; if you left an email address, you also get an email confirming it was received.
Will I get an email when I book?
Yes, if you leave an email address: you get a confirmation when your request is received and a reminder the day before the appointment. The doctor gets an email for every new request.
I can’t make my appointment. What should I do?
Just let the doctor know as soon as possible using the details in the reminder email. Early notice frees the slot for another patient.
How do doctors manage the calendar?
From the dashboard, doctors can close (block) any day or time slot with one tap, or open it again. Blocked times are not shown to patients.
Can I change the appointment length?
Yes. In the Appointment calendar tab of the dashboard, choose 15, 20, 30, 45 or 60 minutes. Slots are based on the opening hours in your profile.
If I reschedule or cancel, is the patient told?
Yes. If the patient left an email address, they receive the new date and time when you reschedule, or a cancellation notice when you cancel. If the new time you choose has already been taken by another patient, the system won’t reschedule and asks you to pick another time.
Is the appointment calendar free?
A Doktorio profile is free. The calendar where patients book by choosing a time slot comes with Doktorio Pro (0 Kč/month).
